Sources close to Ford indicated today, that up to 150 more people will be turned out of work at the Broadmeadows plant (Melbourne) early next year, as the car giant implodes even further.
Workers from the Manufacturing Trim area are set for outsourcing.
Rumours also abound that there will be large outsourcing actions undertaken at Geelong stamping plant next year.
What next? Where will this madness stop? Can anyone shed any light on what is going on at Broadmeadows?
I thought there was supposed to be 300 new jobs at Broadmeadows, now it looks like this has been halved!

Most of the people who work in this area are migrant women and this is the only job they have ever had.
Ford will not be able to relocate them to other jobs in the factory. This is all a sham...
The promise to re-deploy is not worth a pinch of shit. Where are the 120 jobs that arn't getting done today, for them to move into?
Stop whingeing ,start working to save your jobs. You keep blaming everyone without taking an honest look at yourselves. There are to many doing nothing daily and blaming everyone for their downfall, dont support them as they are ultimately costing you a job. Your so called mates who bludge on the system are hiding behind worn out excuses
